This virtual writing workshop is being offered to assist in empowering folks who have valuable community association experience to share but may not consider themselves to be writers.

The workshop consists of THREE two-hour virtual sessions, with homework assigned in-between, and will be LIMITED to 10 people.

Some things that will be covered:

Brainstorming topics that you would be qualified to write on
The structure of writing an article
The purpose and value of a well-written introductory paragraph
Trouble-shooting any of the roadblocks that often come up when writing
Discussing resources that are useful when writing or fine-tuning / revising your article
Titling an article and how to create impact and encourage folks to read it
Bylines: what they are and how they function
